How to become an outstanding speaker and inspire your audience

I still remember March 2020 vividly, when all my clients called me and said, "Danja, we unfortunately have to postpone or cancel our celebration." For me as a singer, my world collapsed, because it meant I could no longer pursue my calling and suffered a significant loss of income.
One and a half years later – August 2021 – my life looks completely different.
Since becoming an enthusiastic Toastmaster four years ago, I've discovered a second love and a new talent besides singing – public speaking. During the time when celebrations, and therefore my singing career, were prohibited, I dedicated my full attention to this area. This led me to my new calling as a speaker and public speaking trainer.
I'm now booked as an international speaker and coach executives and entrepreneurs, primarily on how to deliver captivating presentations on the digital stage. The great thing is, I can do this from anywhere in the world. This summer, for example, I conducted an intensive "Rock the Digital Stage" training for 25 executives – virtually from Croatia. I also recorded my new online voice course in Croatia and Ibiza. Virtually, I can reach the whole world with my message. Working by the sea, working in a holiday destination – that's inspiring.
With my presentation "Speak like music," I recently gave a talk at the virtual conference "Many heartbeats – One Rhythm." The conference began in Australia, took us to Africa, Asia, Europe, and ended in the USA. Fifty-one speakers shared their knowledge for 24 hours, all focused on achieving excellence. Among them was me, with my presentation "Speak like music," where I touched many people around the world through words and song.
I often hear, "I don't feel any connection virtually." I completely disagree. At this global event, I felt it very strongly. These people from all over the world greeted me with such warmth and friendliness. In this respect, we could learn a lot from other continents, because we often lack genuine emotion.
That's also the focus of my presentation, "Speak Like Music." In the business world, this emotion is precisely what's missing among many executives and entrepreneurs who present to an audience. Far too often, technical jargon, a monotonous speaking style, and boring PowerPoint slides are used. But it is precisely this emotion that creates trust and connection and triggers action in people.
